Humboldt Bay Rowing Association adult and junior rowers competed at the 2025 Head of the American on October 25. Two masters boats earned Gold medals – an adult single rowed by Erica Carlson, and a mixed double with Jeanne Wielgus, Karen Sack, Marty Kimble and Peter Daggett. Gold medals are particularly difficult to achieve in a head race, as there are larger numbers of entries. Head races are longer than sprint races, at 5000 meters.
In addition to the gold medal winners, HBRA masters competed in Womens 4x, Womens 2x, and Mixed Masters 2x. Junior rowers Jubilee Kraft and Anya Seiler competed in Juniors single races.
